A team from the Reconstruction Fund headed by Deputy Chairman of the Fund, Dara Hassan Rashid, attending  the workshop of the Heartland Alliance, which was held in Erbil and lasted for two days to discuss the improvement of compensation procedures in Nineveh province. The workshop was attended by representatives of the relevant ministries and  directorates. Members of Nineveh Provincial Council and organizations active in the province.

The workshop dealt with a number of axes, the most important of which are the procedures by which registration by the affected parties through sub-committees, and the sources of funding those compensation, whether from the federal budget or loans and develop a plan of action to follow up and implement the recommendations that emerged from the workshop.

The Fund's team provided a detailed explanation of the role of the Fund in the reconstruction of the governorate's infrastructure and the Fund's vision on housing and compensation for those affected citizens.
