The conference addressed many axes, governorate’s role and security situation for reconstruction were in the agenda, as well as conducting a detailed presentation by President of ReFAATO on accomplished projects in Nineveh and challenges RF experiences throughout its endeavors, including low budgets compared to size of damage, as RF’s plan for Nineveh under operational and investment of 2017 was (operational:19 projects with IQD 10,138,137,500) , ( investment: 14 projects with IQD 5,553,547,900) and (operational: 19 projects with IQD 16,014,460,473 and investment: 26 projects with IQD 43,997,415,912) for 2018, to sum up (78) projects with IQD 75,531,876,385.

Furthermore, EURO 135 MILLIONS allocated to Nineveh under German loan, EURO45 MILLIONS equally distributed for each sector- first stage, and an additional allocation under second stage for high tension electricity station of Mosul city.

Bridges- old, Second Muthana, and fourth were reconstructed under World Bank loan with a cost of (USD4,279,812) implemented by the Ministry of Reconstruction and Housing, and procuring mobile stations for Electricity sector and other appliances with cost of (7,531,894). Noteworthy, there is a joint electricity project for Nineveh and Anbar to rehabilitate electricity stations and related equipments with a cost of (IQD 17,819,812), and under the same loan USD20 was allocated to Municipal sector of Nineveh.

ReFAATO works hard to meet the needs according to priorities and budget allocated to Federal budget or loans and international donations under its jurisdictions.
