His Excellency the Chairman of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Eng. Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, met with the Director of the World Bank Program in Iraq and the Middle East, Ms. (Zarohi) and her accompanying delegation on Wednesday morning, 2/19/2025, in his office to discuss the stages of progress of work on the projects of the ministries and governorates benefiting from the World Bank and to discuss overcoming the challenges faced by the project management teams during their implementation period.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammed Qasim, Director of the Contracts Department and (Director of the Loan Management Team at the Fund). The World Bank stated that it plans next September to visit the projects completed by them in the governorates (Nineveh, Salah al-Din, Kirkuk, Anbar, Diyala) accompanied by His Excellency the Chairman of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations. In conclusion, His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund praised the efforts made by the World Bank to support projects in the liberated governorates.
