The Chairman of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations chairs the fifth session of the Board of Trustees for the year 2024
His Excellency the Chairman of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, chaired the meeting of the Board of Trustees in its fifth session for the year 2024, which was held today in the Baghdad Hall at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in Baghdad.
In the presence of the governors (Baghdad, Salah al-Din, Kirkuk, Diyala, Nineveh, Anbar and Babylon), the undersecretaries of the ministries (Planning, Finance, Industry and Minerals, Education, Migration and Displacement), representatives of the Secretary-General of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, the Vice President of the Fund, the Head of the Engineering Affairs Department, the Head of the Administrative, Financial and Legal Affairs Department, the Heads of the Control, Audit and Contracts Department, the Finance, Legal and Planning Officers, the Secretary of the Fund's Board of Trustees, and the Public Relations and Media Officer.
His Excellency discussed many matters related to the work of service projects and all sectors.
His Excellency stressed that accelerating the completion of the inclusion of projects and coordination between the beneficiary parties and the governorate contributes to achieving a positive return in implementation.
His Excellency explained that adhering to a unified plan approved exclusively by the governor helps facilitate work procedures and its continuity in accordance with the required administrative and technical contexts.
His Excellency indicated that working to include all sectors targeted by the Fund's work is one of the basic matters that helps improve the service reality for citizens.
His Excellency pointed out the necessity of adhering to the directives of the Prime Minister, Engineer Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, to intensify field visits to projects and focus on infrastructure and social services. His Excellency indicated that the government program urges the development of the service reality in all districts and sub-districts of the governorates and targeting different areas that did not receive reconstruction in previous periods.
