The Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations has completed the Canaan Central Water Expansion Project in Diyala Governorate.
The Fund's engineering and technical staff were able to complete all the basic requirements for the project in order to deliver potable water to the Canaan district.
The work included equipping and installing a water complex (500 m3/hour) complete with sedimentation tanks and filters with all suction and push pumps, chlorine and alum devices, in addition to a silt and dipping tank and suction outlets with the construction of a service building, a fence and internal roads in addition to a transformer, generator, shed, equipping and connecting a main electrical control panel, equipping and extending pipes with a diameter of (110 mm) with a length of (2000 m) and (225 mm) with a length of (2000 m) and a pipe with a length of (100 m) and (350 mm). This project is part of the Reconstruction Fund plan for the year 2023.
