The Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations continues the work on the project to build a concrete bridge on the Tigris River near the Makhlat ship, 360 meters long, in Nineveh Governorate.
The engineering and technical staff of the Fund began the work on installing the tributaries and pouring the transverse bridges of the bridge on the right side.
The work exceeded advanced percentages that were not planned after completing the work on pouring the pillars, pillar caps, columns, transverse bridges, and installing the rubber cushions, as 56 tributaries were poured out of 80 tributaries for the complete bridge.
The bridge connects the Shura district and its affiliated villages on the right side and the villages affiliated with the Qayyarah district, Makhmur district and Al-Kuwayr district on the left side. The bridge serves a large segment of society as it shortens the transportation distance between the two banks of the river.
