The Reconstruction Fund holds a “special” meeting with planning directors in the governorates included in the reconstruction of the affected areas to discuss plans and projects for the year 2024.
A “special” meeting was held at the Fund’s headquarters today, Wednesday, 7/24/2024, to discuss future plans within the investment projects and special programs for the year 2024, in the presence of the Director of the Engineering Affairs Department, the Director of the Planning Division of the Fund, and a number of its engineering staff.
The meeting included the planning directors of the governorates that fall within the Fund’s work and that were damaged as a result of terrorist operations. During it, several topics were discussed, especially the governorates’ needs for important projects that serve the public interest and achieve stability in the targeted areas and within various sectors, which will lead to restoring the infrastructure of those governorates.
The attendees at their meeting stressed the need to speed up the procedures, especially the listing requirements for projects and the necessity of providing the governorates to the Fund with them, setting specific timings for their completion and initiating the implementation of the selected projects.
