Under the guidance of His Excellency the President of the Fund, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, the Training and Development Unit of the Department of Administrative, Financial and Legal Affairs continues to hold training courses and educational seminars for the staff working there. It has organized an educational symposium in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs/National Center for Occupational Health and Safety for the period from 23-24/ 7/2024 The symposium topics covered a comprehensive definition of the basic concepts of occupational health and safety and a study of potential risks within the internal work environment through a set of procedures and measures in accordance with applicable legislation and laws, in addition to an explanation of the mechanism for preparing a plan to confront the occupational risks to which the employee is exposed and how to provide the work environment. The symposium also described the steps and stages of implementing first aid at work sites when exposed to accidents and provided participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide medical assistance in emergency situations, in addition to a comprehensive explanation of the types of fires and methods of dealing with them, the risks of the work environment, sources of heat, types of fuel, losses resulting from fires, and topics Other.
The session witnessed discussions and exchange of opinions among the participants and the presentation of sound and objective visions in order to spread the culture of occupational safety and health in a way that increases readiness to confront emergencies and prevent risks.
