The head of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations chairs the first session of the Board of Trustees for the year 2024
His Excellency the President of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, chaired the meeting of the Board of Trustees in its first session of 2024, which was held in the meeting room at the Fund’s headquarters in Baghdad Governorate, in the presence of the Governors (Nineveh, Kirkuk, and Babylon) and the Undersecretaries of the Ministries (Finance, Health, Water Resources, and Immigration). and displaced persons) and representatives of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense, Interior and the Kurdistan Region.
During the meeting, His Excellency discussed the most prominent obstacles that hamper the progress of work, controlling completion rates, and developing appropriate solutions in order to complete the reconstruction process in the liberated areas.
His Excellency explained that paying attention to all sectors and qualifying them as required contributes to the advancement of the service reality in accordance with international standards.
The Fund's President went on to say that the Fund is committed to the campaign launched by the Honorable Prime Minister, Engineer Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and this year will be special for urban achievements.
His Excellency stressed that the Fund’s plan will be implemented in accordance with the basic and important terms and conditions for completing projects in the affected governorates.
His Excellency pointed out the need to support contractors and emerging companies, determine their competency standards according to the database, and give them the opportunity to expand the scope of choice, as well as their participation in tenders to develop them as required.
His Excellency indicated that the goal of meeting periodically gives a positive indication of clarity of visions between the Fund and the beneficiary.
His Excellency expressed his overwhelming happiness to the new governors on the occasion of assuming the duties entrusted to them, wishing them success and lasting success in their work.
