The Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations has begun work on a project to equip and install pumps for the Fakhriya reservoir in the Akargov Water Center in the Abu Ghraib district of Baghdad Governorate.
The Fund's engineering and technical staff continues with the project work, which includes preparing and installing pumps and rehabilitating the 300 mm diameter conveyor line from the Hamid Shaaban entrance towards Abdul Aziz Al-Badri and Al-Karagul Abu Ghraib.
Engineer Mustafa Qais Kamal, responsible for following up on the Fund’s projects in Baghdad Governorate, explained that work is continuing on the project after it was prepared with the required materials and according to the specifications and engineering and technical contexts necessary to ensure the implementation of the project.
Pointing out that the pumps that were approved are vertical type (S.P.P) of English origin, in addition to providing ductile type water pipes with a diameter of (500) mm (Xing type).
This project is part of the Reconstruction Fund projects plan for areas affected by terrorist operations for the year 2023.
