The Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations completed a project to rehabilitate and cover the road extending from Felfil Junction to Wana district in Nineveh Governorate.
The work included rehabilitating and covering the road extending from Felfil Junction to Wana district, with a length of (28) km and a width of (6.1) metres, in addition to spreading and leveling a modification layer with surface specifications with a thickness of (3) cm, cleaning with compressed air and spraying taco material, in addition to spreading a layer of concrete. Work continues by spraying taco material, in addition to scraping the bush, cleaning the side streams, and spreading a layer of gravel, type (B), for the shoulders, with a thickness of no less than (10) cm and a width of (1.75) m on each side. Reaching the new paving level, with the trench buried on both sides of the road, in the form of layers, the thickness of each layer (15) cm after the leveling, at a rate of no less than (95%).
The Fund's engineering and technical staff were able to implement the project according to the specified timing and the required technical specifications.
