The Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations continues to work to rehabilitate, develop, and maintain the main street from Al-Quds Intersection to the Teachers’ Neighborhood, Al-Mafraq Bridge Intersection, in Diyala Governorate.
The work included excavation work, removing old damaged paving, pouring the street basin with reinforced concrete, and laying sewer and communications lines.
Engineer Ihab Raouf, responsible for following up on the Fund’s projects in Diyala Governorate, said that the Fund has implemented advanced levels of the project’s work, which is 4 km long and continues to cover and furnish the street with display screens and gardens.
Explaining that the project is very important because it is the western entrance to the city from Baghdad Governorate, as well as providing great service to all residents of Diyala Governorate.
This project is part of the project plan of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations for the year 2202.
